Measure the front
Measure the door itself from edge to edge: height first, then width. Don’t use the cabinet opening size, and don’t subtract the gaps a second time.
Measure once. Check twice.
Record the finished size of each existing door or drawer front in millimetres. Keep a list of the sizes, quantities and hinge positions you need.
Measure the door itself from edge to edge: height first, then width. Don’t use the cabinet opening size, and don’t subtract the gaps a second time.
View the door from the rear. Choose left or right, then measure from the top edge to the centre of the top hinge cup and from the bottom edge to the centre of the bottom cup.
The bottom measurement starts at the bottom edge. Standard centres are 100 mm from each end; custom positions are included.
For tall doors, additional hinges or unusual drilling patterns, contact us before placing the order.
Count every size separately. Confirm the profile, finish, quantity and drilling for each front, and check the condition of your existing cabinets and hinges.
Very shallow drawer fronts may need a slab profile. The builder checks that your chosen frame leaves enough room for the centre panel.
