Kitchen Door Buying Guides & Style Advice
Start your kitchen-door project with a clear list of fronts and a style you like. These guides explain the choices and connect you to the measuring and ordering tools.
Compare the door profiles
- Traditional Shaker kitchen doors: a defined, square-edged frame around a recessed panel.
- Skinny Shaker kitchen doors: a slimmer frame for a lighter outline.
- Bevelled Shaker kitchen doors: an angled inner edge that adds definition around the panel.
- Slab doors and drawer fronts: a plain, unframed face, also useful for shallow drawers.
The builder also includes beaded Shaker. Compare the styles at your actual dimensions to judge their proportions.
Measure before ordering
Use our kitchen door measuring guide for finished sizes and hinge-cup positions. Record every door and drawer front separately, including quantity and its position in the room.
Choose your finishing route
Online doors are supplied unfinished or primed. Both options need their final decorative finish. Agree the coating system, preparation and timing with your painter before ordering if someone else will finish the fronts.
Build and check the order
The Frontly door builder calculates the selected front's price and lets you save different sizes in one order. Check dimensions, quantities, style, finish and hinge choices line by line before checkout.
