A familiar style, fitted to your kitchen

The traditional Shaker profile gives each front a clearly defined frame. It suits both country kitchens and simpler contemporary schemes, with handles and the final paint colour helping to set the character. Keeping one profile across tall cupboards and base units creates a consistent look; a slab drawer front can provide a quieter detail where a drawer is too shallow for a framed design.

Replacement fronts for cabinets you want to keep

Replacing the doors makes sense when the cabinet boxes are sound and you are happy with the layout. Check the existing cabinet fixings, hinges and drawer mechanisms before ordering. New fronts will not correct a damaged cabinet or a poorly working drawer.

Measure the existing front itself, edge to edge, in millimetres. Enter height first, then width. Do not use the cabinet opening as the door size or subtract the fitting gaps twice. Our kitchen door measuring guide explains the checks.

Choose your finish and drilling

Order unfinished fronts for your own preparation and painting, or select the primed option. Primed doors still need their final decorative finish. The online range is supplied unfinished or primed; the painted kitchens shown on the site are inspiration.

The builder includes a no-drilling option or two hinge-cup positions on the chosen side. Enter the top measurement from the top edge to the cup centre, and the bottom measurement from the bottom edge to the other cup centre. Hinge side is viewed from the rear.
